Anne deLain W Clark

Co-founder

Anne has been helping people ask, listen and respond better for over 14 years in the public and private sectors. As an interpersonal communication and conflict management expert, consultant and educator, Anne helps others understand the power of conscious communication to improve relationships within businesses, governmental agencies, and groups across the nation.

Anne began her work life as a financial manager. She eventually realized that great organizations are led by people and not by numbers, leading her to take on the role of Coordinator of the NM Radioactive Waste Consultation Task Force for over 11 years. Since then, she has dedicated her career to advocating for the needs and concerns of her clients by building collaborative solutions. She is an adjunct instructor at the Santa Fe Community College teaching conflict management and resolution, and volunteers as a mediator for the State Personnel Office.

“As social animals, human beings are driven to connect, to rely on each other, to find common goals; this is the foundation of our survival as a species. Discovering the deeper needs and concerns of the people on all sides of any issue results in the discovery of more commonality than difference,” she says.

Anne has lived in Santa Fe with her husband since 1981. They have two grown children. She chose New Mexico as the place to call home after falling in love with the giant skies and unspoiled wilderness, an undeniable contrast from her New York City upbringing. She is a classically trained singer whose creative impulses include photography and collecting seashells and starfish, of which there aren’t many in the desert.

Kelly M. Stanhope

Co-founder

Kelly believes that conscious communication, self-management and conflict awareness skills can profoundly change anyone’s life for the better. Her interest in behavior and the influences and interactions with society led to her BA in Social Psychology. She puts those studies into practice as a mediator, certified coach, teacher, trainer and facilitator for individuals, small businesses, and government. To help herself and her clients achieve their goals, she has continued to study mediation and coaching, and has had training in international conflict resolution systems, collaborative law and has recently had training in the Immunity to Change system.

Kelly managed and grew the mediation program at the Santa Fe Magistrate Court for seven years. She has experience in all levels of business from the front line to executive leadership, which has honed her focus on the elements of successful communication, organization and negotiation. Kelly is an adjunct instructor at the Santa Fe Community College and gives back to the community as a volunteer mediator for New Mexico State Personnel Office.

A Santa Fe native, who takes great pride in her travels worldwide, brings a global perspective to all her interactions. She has lived in Mexico, London and Greece, and has been profoundly affected by her time in Thailand with her husband. She loves poetry and through it, the exposure to the diversity and semantics of language. She recently took up the game of golf and is still determining whether or not she likes it!

“I love coming home to New Mexico, the clean air, water, beautiful skies and land inspire me. We have the intelligence, creativity and talent in our state to achieve great things. I want to be a meaningful part of that,” she says.
